“On any day, blessing comes quietly down
and wraps you in a gentle smile.”
While painting this, I placed myself in a quiet room
and simply surrendered to the movement of the brush.
At first I thought of nothing — layering colour, drawing patterns,
watching the surface slowly fill with light and swirling motion.
Then, from somewhere, a warmly smiling Buddha appeared.
A settled, unshakable presence, with an expression that holds everything.
Each time our eyes met, something deep inside loosened,
and before I knew it the tightness in my chest had quietly let go.
As the colourful spirals, the mandala-like patterns, the hearts
and flowers spread across the canvas, I felt blessing overflowing.
Each colour and form quietly tells of the small miracles and joys we meet in a life.
The softness of the hand holding the prayer beads, the calm eyes,
the numbers and letters drifting in the background —
all of it seemed to turn into a prayer for living, for feeling safe, for knowing happiness.
I painted each stroke with the quiet hope
that this work might gently hold someone, and let them feel a small blessing.
At the centre of the colourful swirls, flowers, hearts and spirals,
the Buddha sits and receives the whole world with a calm smile.
The golden skin, the prayer beads and the faintly red lips carry a tenderness —
a warm, softly enveloping presence.
The overlapping circles, and the small hearts and flowers set out in rhythm,
loosen the viewer's heart and fill it with blessing and ease.
The “5613” drifting in the background, the geometric patterns, the various letters
and signs, stand for the many kinds of happiness, abundance and harmony in this world.
What overflows from the whole is a universal message: every person,
every day, is blessed exactly as it is.
Simply looking at it lets a quiet warmth spread inside —
a painting full of tenderness and healing.
