"What you find at the end of a spiral… is connection."
When I was painting this piece, there was neither a beginning nor an end—
I simply let the brush follow the spiral as it wished.
I wasn't trying to define a form, but allowed the flows to layer, loosen, and meet again,
as if tracing the rhythm of the soul's own timeline.
While painting, waves of memory and emotion surfaced and faded—
and I felt as though I was having a quiet conversation with the universe that lives within me.
It was familiar yet new, and gently stirred something that almost brought me to tears.
When I finally looked at the finished piece, I realized—
this is not a painting that takes you somewhere else,
but one that quietly brings you back to who you truly are.
I hope that, for those who see this piece,
a quiet sense of "homecoming" might begin to glow inside their hearts.

Across the canvas stretch countless spirals, circles, waves of light, and flowing lines.
Just gazing at it draws you inward, evoking a sense of being gently pulled into another dimension.
Red, blue, yellow, green, purple, gold—the diverse colors swirl together
in rhythmic harmony, like life itself singing in form and movement.
On the right side, the character 施 (Hodokoshi) is inscribed—a symbol
that appears in all of MIRAI's works, representing the energy of giving,
sharing, and circulating love. The entire piece seems to whisper a universal
truth: by giving, the soul evolves.
As you look at it, the heart opens out without limit, and you remember
that you are part of the universe — a painting that takes you on an inward journey.
